Salman Khan started Bigg Boss 18 by calling Chum Darang into the stand. He made her apologise to Avinash Mishra for saying that he should not flirt with any other girl if he loves Eisha Singh. The statement that made headlines in entertainment news. He then called Sara Arfeen Khan. Many clips of Sara were shown to share that she created a narrative and did character assassination of Avinash. Kashish Kapoor was also called. Salman Khan asked Kashish that she set a wrong narrative against Avinash. Rajat Dalal was also called in the stand and video clips of him were shown. Rajat had called Avinash ‘tharki’ and in many conversations, he spoke against Avinash. Rajat accepted that the use of word ‘tharki’ was wrong on his part. Eisha Singh was also schooled as she took Kashish Kapoor’s side when the fight took place.
With all of this happening, many viewers commented that the episode was all about ‘whitewashing’ Avinash Mishra’s image. However, many came out in support of Avinash Mishra and mentioned that the clarity was much needed.
