Popular television actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, who managed to rule hearts with her exceptional performances in various shows, is currently away from the public eye due to her ongoing cancer treatment. But the actress gives a sneak peek into her life through her vlog. She recently opened up about watching the reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Dipika, who was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer and had a major surgery a few weeks ago to remove a large tumour, is spending quality time with her family. She is currently recovering and undergoing therapy.

Amid all the treatment and therapy, Dipika found a nostalgic escape in the show and watched the first episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay star in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the iconic show that ruled millions of hearts. The show featured Tulsi and Savita, two central characters from the original series. Now, in the reboot, Tulsi was seen remembering her late mother-in-law, Savita, and the two were having a conversation.
Alongside the image, Dipika wrote an emotional note and said,“They are back! Seems like they never left our lives. Uffff, this is so nostalgic. Tab bhi fan thi and aaj bhi fan hun. And loyal viewer of Kyunki… Love them all.”

Dipika even revealed that she was fond of the original series and watched it during her younger years. The show’s second season has returned and has been making fans emotional.
On the work front, Dipika was last seen as a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef India. But she quit the show midway due to her health complications. Now, Dipika has been focusing on her recovery.
