Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a group US-based Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, is making threats to stop the November 1st concert of singer Diljit Dosanjh in Australia. They claimed that the artist by the respect shown to Amitabh Bachchan hurt the whole Sikh community of the past which includes the victims, widows, and orphans of the 1984 Sikh genocide. Pannu asserted that Amitabh Bachchan incited the violence that took place on October 31, 1984, by chanting “Khoon ka badala khoon” on television, which led to a nationwide massacre against Sikhs of over 30,000 Sikh men, women, and children.
Diljit Dosanjh gets Khalistani threat
In a statement, SFJ pointed out that by doing such a thing, Diljit is among the victims who lost their families during 1984. According to reports by NDTV, Pannu said, “By touching feet of Bachchan the man whose words orchestrated Genocide, Diljit Dosanjh has insulted every victim, every widow, and every orphan of 1984 Sikh Genocide.” He added that this is a day represents suffering for the Sikhs and this is the reason the Akal Takht Sahib has declared November 1st as “Sikh Genocide Memorial Day”. He called upon his followers to boycott Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Australia, saying it was an “insult to the Sikhs”.

It is important to mention that the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) is an organization that has been banned in India. It is banned under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The Indian Home Ministry had mentioned that the SFJ poses a threat to the country’s internal security and unity. The organization prints separatist and anti-national activities in Punjab and other areas. The Ministry has claimed that the SFJ is working to diminish India’s sovereignty and integrity and, in connivance with foreign powers, is trying to develop instability within India.
According to the central government, SFJ has close ties to several terrorist organizations and militants. The organization encourages separatist activities in India and attempts to destabilize the democratically elected government. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered several cases against Pannu, and the investigation is ongoing. More than 100 cases are pending against him, which are being investigated by the NIA and police in various states. The government maintains that such elements pose a serious threat to India’s peace and unity.
