Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Anshula Kapoor, is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar. The couple celebrated their Gor Dhana, a traditional Gujarati pre-wedding ceremony similar to an engagement, at Boney Kapoor’s Mumbai home on Thursday. The intimate event was attended by close family and friends. A few days after the ceremony, Arjun shared a heartfelt message for his sister on Instagram. He wrote about how happy he is for her but also how much he misses their late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, during this special moment.

“I guess it’s time I start accepting that you’ll be leaving me and going your own way soon,” Arjun wrote. “It’s going to break me a little, but I know you’ve found someone who makes you smile, even if not as much as me. I miss Mom even more now.”
He also welcomed Rohan into the family, adding, “From being my partner in crime to finding your forever partner, my Ansh is all grown up. All my love and warmest wishes to you both as you begin this new chapter. Welcome to the family, Rohan, you’re in for a ride!”

Anshula and Rohan’s love story began three years ago when they met on a dating app. In a post shared in July, Anshula revealed that their first chat started at 1:15 AM on a random Tuesday and they ended up talking until 6 AM.
“Even back then, it felt like the start of something that truly mattered,” she wrote. “Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle at Central Park, he proposed at exactly 1:15 AM India time! The world just paused for a moment; it felt like magic.”
According to reports, Anshula and Rohan are planning to tie the knot this December.
