Apple TV+‘s limited series Lucky has added a second big name to its cast.
Annette Bening will star opposite Anya Taylor-Joy in the drama, which is based on Marissa Stapley’s best-selling novel of the same name. The series centers on Lucky (Taylor-Joy), a young woman who has left an earlier life of crime behind her but is drawn back in as she attempts to escape her past.
Bening will play Priscilla, who in the novel is a thief and a thorn in Lucky’s side.
Apple TV+ ordered the series in December from creator Jonathan Tropper (See, the forthcoming Your Friends & Neighbors) and Hello Sunshine. Apple Studios is producing.
