Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is making headlines for her rumoured relationship with Walker Blanco post breaking up with Aditya Roy Kapur. Walker Blaco, a former model works at Anant Ambani’s animal shelter and resides in Miami, Florida. The actress recently revealed her take on long-distance relationships without mentioning the name of her partner during an interview.
The Call Me Bae actress thinks a long-distance relationship is quite healthy as it gives some space. She was quoted saying, ‘I think 45 days not meeting someone is good enough. I don’t think it is too bad. Two months is okay. Actually, distance does make the heart grow fonder’. In an interview with Filmfare, Ananya spoke about what kind of girlfriend she is and also revealed she has evolved and become more comfortable with who she is.
She also admitted to changing herself in her past relationship and said, ‘Over time, I have become more comfortable in who I am and that has directly impacted my relationships. I had this thing of becoming who my partner is. Whatever their interests were, I would start liking those. If they wanted to do something I would kind of not do what I wanted to do and go with them. I would spend less time with my friends. I would make a lot of changes in my life even without them asking. I felt like it was something I had to do. In the past, I based a lot of my personality a lot on who I was dating’.
Ananya said that she has found a sense of self-assurance, embracing her individuality while being in a relationship. She also believes that a healthy partnership allows both individuals to maintain their own identities and happiness. Ananya and Walker sparked a relationship rumour at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in July. Ananya referred to Walker as her ‘partner’ during the ceremony.
On the work front, Ananya is currently shooting second season of Call Me Bae for Prime Video. She also has Chand Mera Dil, a film with Lakshya which will be produced by Dharma Productions. She also has an untitled project based on the life of C. Sankaran Nair wherein she will appear with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
