The much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and his longtime girlfriend Radhika Merchant is set to be a spectacular affair on July 12. After a year of lavish pre-wedding celebrations across India and abroad, the couple is ready to tie the knot in Mumbai. A Culinary Delight from Varanasi
One of the highlights of the wedding menu is the inclusion of delicacies from Varanasi’s renowned Kaashi Chaat Bhandar. The owner, Rakesh Keshari, has been personally invited to serve his famous fast food items at the wedding. Guests can look forward to savoring a variety of chaats, including tikki, tomato chaat, palak chaat, chana kachori, and the ever-popular kulfi.
This special arrangement was made after Nita Ambani, founder and chairman of Reliance Foundation, visited Varanasi last month. During her visit, she sought blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and took the opportunity to sample the offerings at Kaashi Chaat Bhandar. Impressed by the flavors, she extended an invitation to Keshari to bring his culinary delights to Mumbai for the wedding.
“Nita Ambani visited our chaat bhandaar on June 24 and tasted our tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was delighted and praised the famous Banarasi chaat. It was an honor to serve her,” Keshari shared with a news agency.
The Grand Celebrations
The wedding festivities will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The main ceremony, Shubh Vivah, will be held on July 12, followed by the Shubh Ashirwad ceremony on July 13. The celebrations will culminate with the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, on Sunday, July 14.
