Recently, in a podcast with Hindi Rush, veteran journalist Pooja Samant discussed their alleged relationship and what went wrong between Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
Speaking about the two, she said, “Jab maine Suneel Darshan ka interview kiya tha, Andaaz 2 ke liye tab unhone yeh baat kahi thi ki Akshay Kumar Priyanka Chopra ke saath film nahi karna chahte kyunki unki nazdeeki rishton ke baare mein unke parivar walon ko aapatti hogayi thi. So he did not move ahead. Unhone Priyanka Chopra ke saath aage filmein nahi ki, kam hi ki.”
Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, addressed the issue in an episode of Aap Ki Adalat and spoke about not working with Priyanka Chopra anymore. He said, “There is nothing like that. I have worked on five films with Priyanka. It’s not like I don’t want to work with her. Except for Rani Mukerji, I have worked with every heroine. If there is an opportunity, I will surely work with Priyanka Chopra. Let us call Priyanka Chopra and check if she has an issue with me. That way, you will know for sure.”

Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, is busy filming for SSMB29, directed by SS Rajamouli. It stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.
