Shefali Jariwala, a popular Bigg Boss 13 contestant, passed away at the age of 42. The cause behind the death is yet to be ascertained. Shefali was rushed to the Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others. However, according to the hospital staff, Shefali had died by the time she was brought in.
What happened to her dead body?
According to Mumbai Police, Shefali’s body was taken for postmortem on Saturday. As per early reports, the cause of death is said to be cardiac arrest. Mumbai Police told ANI, “Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear.”Several celebrities, including Aly Goni and Mika Singh, paid their respect to the actress.

Aly’s social media statement reads, “Shocked and saddened to hear about Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise. Life is so unpredictable. Rest in peace.” Actress Divyanka Tripathi wrote, “It’s unbelievable. We are shocked and sad for the family.” Singer Mika Singh expressed his condolences on social media.
Political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla wrote, “Absolutely stunned to hear my friend Shefali Jariwala is no more. I last met her at a party. Life is so short. She was in #BiggBoss13 with me. Incredible how #SiddhartShukla and now she from my season are no more. Sending love and healing to her loved ones!”

In an interview with Paras Chhabra, Shefali said that she wanted to be known by her hit song Kaanta Laga. Shefali said: “There can only be one Kaanta Laga girl in the world, and that is me. I love it and I want to be known as the Kaanta Laga girl till the day I die.” Fans and followers are expressing their grief at the sad demise of their favorite star, who ruled screens with just one song.
