In a recent interview, Abhishek Bachchan spoke about inspiration and how his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan became the source.
In I Want To Talk, Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of Arjun, a man who is supposed to undergo a life-altering surgery. The resilience, patience, courage shown in the trailer is already drawing attention. In a media chat, Abhishek Bachchan shared a story related to his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and how it influenced his character portrayal in I Want To Talk. He explained that when Aaradhya was very young and reading a children’s book, there was a description of word ‘help’ and how it is the bravest word. Explaining further, he suggested that asking for help means that you are not ready to give up. Connecting it to his character, he mentioned that Arjun in the film is not scared to ask for help or go to the hospital as he does not want to give up.
We all face challenges in real-life, and for Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun’s character became an inspiration. He was quoted saying, “Somebody who has dealt with the things that he has dealt with and continues to deal with, it is very easy to be fed up after 31 odd years and say ‘bahut hogaya hai, ab aur nahi karna.’ But no, the fact that he is still at it, still trying is what makes him courageous.”
