Dude VS Bison Day 2 Box Office Collection: Two of the films that are competing in the Diwali blockbuster race right now are Dude and Bison. Both the films were released yesterday, on October 17, 2025. Both the films of vastly different genres are in competition on the big screens right now. Dhruv Vikram’s Bison is a coming-of-age sports drama, which spins around a social narrative. Meanwhile, Dude is a romantic comedy, also starring R. Sarathkumar, Rohini, and Hridhu Haroon in pivotal roles. Even though both the films are of completely different genres, the fact that they were released on the same day makes the comparison natural. Let’s take a look at how both the films have performed on Day 2 of their release.
Dude VS Bison box office collection Day 2
According to Sacnilk, Pradeep Ranganathan starrer Dude already performed pretty well on Day 1, collecting around Rs. 10 crore net on the opening day. With that, it was Pradeep Ranganathan’s biggest opening of his career. Bison, as reported by Sacnilk, minted Rs. 2.50 crore net.
Now, the early estimates for day 2 are also officially out. As of 1:30 pm on October 18, as per Sacnilk, Bison Kaalamaadan’s morning shows saw an occupancy of 21.04%, which has slightly decreased from 23.01% on day 1. As of 1:30 pm on October 18, Sacnilk’s reports show that Bison’s day 2 earnings are Rs. 0.35 crore, which makes the net collection Rs. 2.85 crore.
On the other hand, as of 1:30 pm, Sacnilk’s reports show the early estimates for Dude’s morning shows’ occupancy to be 38.33%, which has increased from 33.94% on day 1. The total day 2 earnings of Dude as of now (according to early estimates, as per Sacnilk) are Rs. 1.66 crore, making the net collection around Rs. 11.66 crore by now.
Even though Keerthiswaran’s debut, Dude, is clearly leading the race, Bison Kaalamaadan is also doing pretty well for its genre. The Dhruv Vikram starrer completely relies on its story driven narrative for its excellence, instead of super star cast or a high marketing budget. So, for a niche sports film with a social angle, Bison Kaalamaadan is doing pretty well in the box office.
