Salman Khan praises Shah Rukh Khan
At the event, Salman Khan took out a moment to praise Shah Rukh Khan who despite not belonging from a film background, achieved massively in the entertainment industry. In a video, Salman Khan said emotionally, “Aamir comes from a film background, so do I, but this man here (SRK) didn’t, he came from Delhi.” To this, Shah Rukh Khan smiled and lovingly replied, “Salman, I’m sorry, I too come from a film family—Salman’s family is my family, Aamir’s family is my family.” To this, Aamir laughed and said, “Now you know why Shah Rukh is a star.” The entire hall erupted in laughter. This moment was not only funny but also heartwarming.
Another video touched the audience’s hearts, in which Shah Rukh Khan expressed his feelings for both Khan actors. He said, “I look up to these guys. Look at me, I am still looking up to Salman (laughs). So I look up to them honestly, because the kind of work they have done, starting from scratch and having worked their way up to this. These people are aspirational and inspirational and sometimes I feel really, really grateful I have the opportunity to sit on the same forum, same stage with them.”
