Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par and Dhanush’s Kuberaa have successfully completed 8 days in the theatres. Here’s the latest box office report for the two films.
The two most anticipated films, Aamir Khan’s film Sitaare Zameen Par and Dhanush‘s Kuberaa film, hit the theatres on June 20. Now, both the films have entered their second week and with inches away from reaching its 100 crore club. The films are of two different genres and are loved by the audience.
Sitaare Zameen Par box office collection day 8
According to Sacnilk, on its eighth day run, which is its second Friday, Sitaare Zameen Par has collected Rs 5.4 crore, which is a little less than its day seven collection, which collected Rs 6.5 crore. The film has now collected a total of Rs 94.3 crore. On its opening day, Sitaare Zameen Par has collected Rs 10.7 crore, and it’s inches away from reaching its 100 crore mark.
Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. The sports drama stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles. The film is the sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.
Kuberaa box office collection day 8
As per Sacnilk, Kuberaa on its day eight run, has collected Rs 1.79 crore, which is a dip from its day seven run, which collected Rs 3.35 crore. With its second weekend approaching, the film has collected Rs 70.79 crore. Kuberaa, on its opening day, collected Rs 14.75 crore.
Made with a budget of around Rs 150 crore, Kuberaa is directed by Sekhar Kammula and produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. The crore dramas stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil in the lead roles.
With its second weekend approaching, both films are expected to reach 100 crore any time soon. With positive reviews from the audience, the films are worth watching.
