Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn’s latest film, released on May 1, has received positive reviews. It has been facing competition from HIT 3 and Retro.
Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is back as IRS officer Amay Patnaik with Raid 2. The film is a sequel to Raid and fans were quite excited for the movie to release on the big screens. Apart from Ajay, the film stars Saurabh Shukla, and Ritesh Deshmukh in interesting roles. Raid 2 is one of the most awaited films of 2025. The film was released on the big screens on May 1 and since then it has been creating a buzz on social media. Raid 2 has been receiving mixed feedback from audiences as well as critics.
Raid 2 has earned around Rs 6.03 crore India net on its first day as per a report in Sacnilk. The film is moving rapidly towards a projection of a Rs 15 crore net India opening. IRS officer Amay Patnaik’s face-off with Riteish Deshmukh, who plays the antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai will keep you hooked. Vaani Kapoor has joined the cast. The film has been running for 2 hours and 30 minutes and has been released on around 4,000 screens across the country.

Viewers who watched Raid 2 early this morning shared their reviews on X (formerly Twitter). One user said, “What a movie yaar. Totally worth the money! Ajay Devgn nailed it.” Another user wrote, “TOTALLY GOOSEBUMPS! Powerful dialogues, intense visuals, and Ajay Devgn at his best. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Jacqueline Fernandez in item songs. Raid which was released in 2018 was made on a budget on Rs 40 crore and earned Rs 103 crore net in India and grossed Rs 154 crore gross worldwide.
The film is facing stiff clash with Retro and HIT 3 at the box office. But producer Bhushan Kumar called them non-threatening and said that Raid 2 is enjoying prime showcasing. Director Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid 2 will have streaming release and it might be available on Netflix after its theatrical run. The official confirmation on this bit is still awaited.
