The movie, which is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree, has captivated audiences across the country. The first part, released exactly six years ago today, was a massive success, and its sequel has now taken the story forward with even greater impact. The Times Now entertainment news portal spoke to Shraddha’s father and actor Shakti Kapoor about his daughter’s massive box office success. The Andaz Apna Apna actor expressed his pride and happiness. The veteran actor shared that he is very proud of his daughter and her talent. He wishes for her continued success and prays daily for her to shine brightly in her career. Kapoor also mentioned that it feels good to see Shraddha doing well commercially and praised her excellent work. Did he expect the movie would be such a huge hit at the box office? Shakti Kapoor reveals that he thought Stree 2 would earn around Rs 200 crore. However, it has surpassed all expectations, crossing Rs 600 crore worldwide. Shakti expressed his amazement at the film’s performance and praised all the actors, especially Rajkummar Rao, whom he found outstanding in his performance as Vicky.

Meanwhile, even though we know who Shraddha Kapoor’s character is, the makers still have not revealed her name. In an interview with Bollywood Life, Stree 2 writer Niren Bhatt stated that they have kept mystery around her character intact and it will be addressed in the upcoming movies.
