Aamir Khan‘s movie Sitaare Zameen Par directed by RS Prasanna had a very good first weekend. As reported by entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, the film has reached quite close to Rs 100 crore mark within 3 days with its worldwide collection. The report suggests that the film has earned in the range of Rs 92 crore to Rs 94 crore in the first three days of its release with worldwide collection. As per the report, the India gross is said to be in the range of Rs 67 crore to Rs 69 crore and international business is said to be around USD 2.9 Million (Rs 25.10 crore). It is anticipated that the movie will cross the mark of Rs 100 crore with its first Monday business. The positive word of mouth has worked for the film and it has witnessed a tremendous response from the audience over the first weekend.
Kuberaa box office report
Talking about Kuberaa, the movie has turned out to be Dhanush‘ one of the best in his career. It is being reported that the actor has registered his career’s highest grossing opening weekend with this movie. It is being predicted that Kuberaa’s first weekend worldwide box office collection would be around Rs 80 crore. If so, the film will beat Dhanush’ previous mega-hit Raayan. In the first two days, the movie had already crossed the mark of Rs 50 crore.
