Shakti Arora aka Ishaan comments on the dip in TRPs after his exit from the show; ‘It’s obvious…’

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin TV serial recently witnessed a leap. Shakti Arora‘s character Ishaan died in the end leaving Savi all alone. The show witnessed a leap when the TRPs had started to rise. Hitesh Bharadwaj is now the male lead in the show. He plays the role of Rajat Thakkar while Bhavika Sharma is Savi. Post the leap, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is struggling on TRP chart. In an interview with Filmibeat, Shakti Arora commented on the drop in TRPs of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and mentioned that his well-wishers want to see him back. But he added that after any show takes a leap and the main characters exit, it witnesses a drop in numbers. It is natural. He gave example of an OTT series stating that every season has a different flavour. But he believes that as fans start accepting the new cast, the TRPs will rise. He was quoted saying, “As of now, I’ve seen the TRPs are low, they’ve dipped. But, I think once people start accepting the new cast, the new characters, again, the TRPs will rise. Earlier, in interviews, Shakti Arora had commented about his exit from the show and stated that he got to know about it through media reports only. He did mention that he was a bit surprised with the decision and he wouldn’t have gone for a leap as the TRPs were doing well. After his exit, Shakti Arora hasn’t revealed about his next project as yet.
