Will Ferrell never seems to miss an opportunity to embarrass his children.
The Emmy-winning actor’s eldest son, Magnus Ferrell, recently took to TikTok to join the photo trend where users jokingly rate things their parents and family members have done throughout their lives. “Rating things my dad has done,” Magnus wrote on the first slide.
But it was the second slide that featured a throwback photo of an unforgettable moment for the father-son duo. In the image, the Anchorman actor appeared to be wearing a medieval costume, alongside his son in a gray-colored suit.
“Dressed as a medieval lord to embarrass me at prom 10000/10,” Magnus wrote, adding in the caption, “True story.”
The TikTok post quickly went viral, currently sitting at more than 39 million views. Thousands of Will’s fans also took to the post’s comment section, seemingly surprised that Magnus was the Elf star’s son.
One person wrote, “I was like ‘wait is that Will Ferrell… OMG HE HAS KIDS?’” while another user added, “THERE IS A MINI WILL FERRELL!?” Magnus responded to both fans, jokingly writing that it wasn’t Will, but rather Chad Smith, the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers who has been visually compared to the actor for years.
Another person seemed to love the Blades of Glory actor’s medieval costume, writing, “Will Ferrell at your prom is awesome, if anything the fit makes it better.” Magnus responded, “NO I meant like I loved it!”
Will also shares two other sons, Mattias and Axel, with his wife, Viveca Paulin.
