Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat had a strong opening during Diwali week, but its box office performance has begun to fade after the tenth day. The pairing of Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, which generated considerable buzz after the trailer’s release, appears to be failing to retain audiences. According to preliminary reports from industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has grossed approximately Rs 58 crore as of Saturday (Day 12).

The reports indicate that the tenth day saw the film’s earnings to be around Rs 1.58 crore. This number, while it does not exceed the projection, very distinctly shows a decrease when compared to the last few days. The film’s revenue in India on the eighth day was Rs 4.5 crore, which fell to Rs 3 crore on the ninth day and further down to Rs 2 crore on the tenth day. Definitely, the film gained advantage from the Diwali holidays during its first few days of showing. Sacnilk reports that the film’s earnings on the 11th day were Rs 2.35 crore and only Rs 1 crore on the 12th day. This indicates that the film’s speed has reduced a lot.
