Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1 has established a new record by being the second highest-grossing film in Mollywood history. Here’s a look at its box office receipts on day 20.
Lokah box office collection: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s fantasy epic Lokah: Chapter 1– Chandra is still having a fantastic run at the box office. The third week of the superhero movie has started off well. The Sacnilk website reports that the film has now made Rs 124.90 crore India net in 20 days. Reports state that on Day 20 (Tuesday, September 16), the movie made an estimated Rs 2.75 crore net in all languages. It had a great third weekend, earning Rs 6.65 crore on Saturday and Rs 7 crore on Sunday.
Lokah theatre occupancy
The movie had an overall occupancy rate of 29.75% in Malayalam theatres on Day 20, with night shows reaching around 44%. The movie had a consistent presence in a few multiplexes and an occupancy rate of 14.92% in Telugu states. The original Malayalam version undoubtedly has the highest occupancy rates.

Lokah, which was made on a budget of Rs 30 crores, is undoubtedly a game changer in Mollywood. The actors Naslen K. Gafoor, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan play important parts in the superhero fantasy movie, which stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the lead. The characters Odiyan and Chathan, portrayed by Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas, respectively, were just officially unveiled by the film’s makers.

Director Jeethu praises Kalyani’s film
During the promotion of his next movie, Mirage, the director of Drishyam recently expressed his admiration for the Kalyani Priyadarshan film. After Lokah became a hit, Jeethu also had a warning for anyone who would steal this concept and make superhero films.
The Drishyam director said, “Lokah team already has proved success with a superhero genre, now everyone will start copying them and it’s not a good thing.”
