A mass recall of Celsius drinks is making headlines after it was discovered that some cans contained High Noon vodka seltzer. The FDA announced on Wednesday, July 30, that the recall “was initiated after High Noon discovered that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to High Noon.”

How Did High Noon & Celsius Drinks Get Mixed Up?
The supplier was blamed by Celsius for mistakenly shipping empty cans of its energy drink to High Noon’s facility, where the cans were filled with the alcoholic beverage, packaged and shipped out.

The following Celsius drinks were recalled:
- High Noon Beach Variety Packs 12-pack 12 fluid ounce cans — UPC: 085000040065; L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00 Lot Codes are on the exterior of the 12-pack.
- CELSIUS Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition — UPC: 8 89392001341; L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11.
The recalled Celsius products were shipped to states including Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin between July 21 and July 23. In the FDA’s statement, it was confirmed that some of the beach variety packs were mislabeled as the Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition with a silver top.”
