The death of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur has shocked everyone. His death was unexpected, and many are in disbelief. However, a new video has surfaced online which shows Sunjay Kapur’s final moments, and it has now gone viral. In the viral video, Sunjay was seen lying on the ground after a heart attack, surrounded by medical staff attempting to revive him and one of them is also seen pressing his chest.
How did Sunjay Kapur die?
On June 12, Sunjay passed away in England after having a heart attack while playing a polo match. As per reports, he accidentally swallowed a bee during the match, which led him to a severe allergic reaction. Despite immediate medical attention, including CPR, the reaction proved fatal.
Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar, a prominent auto component manufacturer for electric vehicles globally. Not only was Sunjay a respected business leader, but also a dedicated polo player and was seen regularly practising in fields. On June 19, the industrialist’s last rites were held in New Delhi. A prayer meet is scheduled for June 22 at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi, from 4 PM to 5 PM.
Did Karisma Kapoor attend Sunjay’s funeral?
Sunjay Kapur’s funeral was attended by his former wife, Karisma Kapoor. Karisma and Sunjay got married in 2003 and finally divorced in 2016. The two had two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. During their divorce settlements, Karisma won custody of her kids, and Sunjay was given the right to visit them. Sunjay later married Priya Kapur and had two more children, Safira and Azarias. However, Karisma never got married.
Just before his sudden passing, Sunjay Kapur took to X (formerly Twitter) to express condolences to the victims of the Air India crash in Ahmedabad and posted, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad… May they find strength in this difficult hour.”
