Sitaare Zameen Par starring Aamir Khan has released today in the theatres. A special screening was held in Mumbai yesterday. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan came to support Aamir’s film.
Sitaare Zameen Par has released today and people are loving the film. People have given all positive response to the movie and the storyline has touched hearts. It is a spiritual sequel to one of Aamir Khan’s best films, Taare Zameen Par. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in pivotal roles. The film is directed by R.S Prasanna and is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.
It also features debutants Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The special screening of the film was held yesterday in Mumbai.
Salman Khan was offered Sitaare Zameen Par first?
For the screening Bollywood celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Sunny Kaushal, Rekha, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Jeetendra, Tushar Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda and others were present. However, what grabbed attention was Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s entry.
They both came to support Aamir Khan and his team for Sitaare Zameen Par. Salman left everyone surprised when he cracked a joke about Aamir offering the film first to him. He said that he was offered the film first by Aamir before doing it himself.
The actor said, “Isne story nahi bataayi na picture ki? Isne mere ko bulaya tha ye subject dekhne ke liye. Main chala gaya mujhe bahut achi lagi picture, maine haan bhi keh di. Mere ko phone aata hai ki, ‘main kar raha hu picture”
He then added that he praised the picture so much that Aamir said that he himself will do the film now. He then joked about Aamir’s personal life and said that Aamir had told him he wants to do the film but was not working at that time and was busy with scripting and some paper work (referring to his divorce with Kiran Rao).
Aamir then said, “Aisa ho sakta ki wo haan bole aur main beech mein aaun?”
