Many leading Bollywood actresses represent major brands, with names like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, and others. In a recent interview, Rajeev Juneja, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Mankind Pharma, opened up on their brand Prega News’ deals with Anushka and Deepika. Rajeev talked about Sharma’s personality, who is currently the face of their brand.
While talking about the brand’s deal with Anushka Sharma, Rajeev Juneja told Raj Shamani, “She is very good. Very straight, very disciplined. Matlab kam aisa hota hai. Koi tantrums nahi hai. Koi filmy wali baatein nahi hain. Army background se hain so maybe her ethics are different. Very professional.” In the past, the brand had collaborated with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Rajeev revealed that they had a great experience while collaborating with Kareena.
Rajeev Junega had also revealed that they had approached Deepika Padukone to be their brand’s next face. However, the deal is not finalised yet due to her fee. He revealed, “Nahi, sign nahi kiya. Maybe her asking is too much for us.”
They are also in discussions with Alia Bhatt to potentially replace Anushka Sharma as its ambassador. The co-founder revealed that they allocate only 20-25 percent specifically for ad productions.
Meanwhile, last year, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents to their second child – Akaay Kohli, a boy. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh too welcomed a baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh, in September last year. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter, Raha Kapoor, was born in 2022. On the work front, Anushka was last seen in the movie Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Deepika is currently on a maternity break and Alia is busy with YRF’s ALPHA.
