Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri has been receiving a lot of success after her role in Animal. She has managed to create a special place in the hearts of the audience with her powerful performance. She was even seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Bad Newz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Laila Majnu. Unfortunately, she became a victim of negative publicity for reports that suggested that she had been dropped from Aashiqui 3 for being too exposed after bold scenes in her previous films.
There were rumous that claimed Triptii had been dropped from the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Aashiqui 3 after her involvement in look tests and the Mahurat shoot. Well, director Anurag Basu denied these reports as he said, ‘That’s not true’. He also said that Triptii herself was aware of the truth. Basu made this statement during an interview with Mid-Day. Well, it is still not clear if Triptii will be part of Aashiqui 3 or not. However, Triptii maintained complete silence over the same amid these ongoing speculations. There were rumours which also suggested that the filmmakers were looking for a new female lead. The production of the film is slated to commence in late January or early February. Well, for the uninitiated, Triptii had faced intense backlash for her intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. The actress confessed the hate and vile comments that left her shocked during Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast.
On the work front, Triptii will be seen collaborating with Shahid Kapoor in Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming film. The film will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. She also has Dhadak 2 alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Imtiaz Ali’s The Idiot of Istanbul with Fahadh Faasil.
