Gully Boy Sequel Cast
A Gully Boy sequel is in the works. However, it won’t star Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Also, Zoya Akhtar will not direct the second film. A recent report states that Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Panday are being considered for the second part. The report also mentions that Arjun Varain Singh, who helmed the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan for Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, is roped in as the director.
A source told Filmfare, “Arjun Varain Singh, who directed Kho Gaye Hum Kahan for Excel and Tiger Baby, is slated to direct the Gully Boy sequel. He’s confident that Ananya, who was his heroine in Kho Gaye, will be the perfect girl to lead the project. Vicky has been attached to the sequel for a long time now. Let’s see if all these three artists can come together to recreate the magic of Gully Boy.”
So far, there are no updates on when the movie will be announced. So we will have to wait for the team to give an official update. Further in this entertainment news, Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in the film Chhaava, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna. The actor portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the historical drama, which is all set to release in theatres this year. On the other hand, Ananya Panday’s next is an untitled film with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan.
