In the latest development, Zalak Desai is all set to enter Deepa Shahi and Rajan Shahi’s series Anupamaa. Yes, you read that right! The actress is all set to join the Kotharis family in the show. Well, details about the role and her introduction have not been disclosed as of now.

Zalak has been a part of serials such as Mooh Boli Shaadi and Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai. She played the role of Komal in Laado 2 and also essayed the character of Rajkumari Rukmini / Maharani Rukmini in RadhaKrishn. Zalak was last seen in Karmadhikari Shanidev.
Recently, producer Rajan Shahi spoke about the declining TRP of Anupamaa and was quoted by Telly Talk India saying, ‘TRP matters to everyone, right from actors to caterers. People often say that TRPs don’t matter to them. TRP matters to me, but I also believe in offering good content. DKP always believes in focusing on limited shows to enhance their quality of them. YRKKH has witnessed a lot of ups and downs. The ups and downs in the graph are very organic’.
Rupali has become a household name with her character Anupamaa. She has been associated with the show for more than 4 years. Recently, makers replaced Alisha Parveen who played the role of Aadhya/Rahi in Anupamaa.
