Aamir Khan Productions has posted Aamir’s congratulatory message for Allu Arjun and the entire team of Pushpa 2. At the box office, Pushpa 2 is inching closer to beating the all-time record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the sports drama was released in theatres in 2016. Allu Arjun’s film has earned around Rs 1760 crore worldwide in just 25 days. On the other hand, the collection of Aamir’s 2016 movie was Rs 2070.3 crore at the box office (worldwide), reported Sacnilk. It would be interesting to see if Allu Arjun’s film manages to surpass the record of the Hindi film.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is busy with Sitaare Zameen Par. It is based on similar themes as Taare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film also stars Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role. Aamir is also the producer of Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Shilpa Shetty patriotic drama Lahore 1947, which is being helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
