Govinda is one of the prominent names in the film industry. Currently, his daughter Tina Ahuja is ruling the headlines. In a recent interview, Tina spoke about period cramps and more. She stated that she has had a perfect cycle and has never had menstrual cramps. However, she is getting trolled on social media as she also stated that period cramps is ‘psychologically’ and sometimes people start feeling it only because people in their circle are talking about it. Tina Ahuja feels only girls from Bombay, Delhi talk about period cramps

In an interview with The Hautterfly, Tina stated that only ‘girls from Mumbai and Delhi’ speak about period cramps. She added that she has stayed in Chandigarh most of the time and she has only heard girls from Delhi and Bombay speak about cramps. She further added, “Half of the problem comes from setting up these circles who are talking about the problem, and sometimes the ones who don’t get cramps also start to feel it psychologically. So many women in Punjab and other small cities don’t even realise when they undergo menopause.” Her mother Sunita who was also a part of the interview appeared to agree with her. Govinda’s daughter then went on to add that maybe her body is ‘little desi’ as she has never had back pains. She advised that girls should focus on their diet, get a good night’s sleep and everything becomes normal. “You eat your ghee, stop dieting so much; you have a good night’s sleep, and everything becomes normal. You have a good diet. Most of the girls diet so much looking at Instagram, listening to it, that problems which don’t even exist happen,” she added. The clip from the internet made its way to Reddit and Tina is getting trolled for the statement made. One of the comments on the video read, “Usually, when women invalidate the lived experiences of other women and come up on top with their singular, personal anecdotes, it’s a by product of patriarchy.
