Actor admits to slapping a fan
A fan tried to take a selfie with Nana Patekar on the Vanvaas movie set last year. But Nana wasn’t pleased with his behaviour and slapped him. The incident shocked everyone around. In an interview, the Welcome actor opened up about it. While Patekar agrees that it was wrong, he expressed his displeasure towards the man’s behaviour.
While talking to News18, Nana Patekar admitted to slapping a male fan who wanted a selfie with him. Nana said how the man came out of love and didn’t know they were between a shot. The man disrupted the shot and tried to take a selfie. “I slapped him, which was wrong. But there is a place to express your love for a person. If he had come after I have completed the shot, I won’t have an issue. But at that, it became a big controversy,” revealed the Taxi No. 9211 star.
Further in this entertainment news, the movie’s director, Anil Sharma, was asked if shooting films outdoors has become a task after Gadar 2’s success. To this, Sharma said that it is difficult as their shots get copied and people share videos on social media. They have to get them removed, which is an additional task. They have to set up a separate digital team to pull down such videos.
Meanwhile, Nana Patekar’s video of slapping a fan on the Vanvaas movie sets had gone viral on social media. Many people are shocked to see the same. One person reacted to a viral video, “Totally unacceptable behaviour. Patekar ji ko ladke ka umar n apna umar dekhna chahiye. Aisi harkate apko shobha ni deti.” One more person wrote, “Nana Patekar is known for this. He has many instances of slapping fans like this!”
