Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen manages to impress everyone with her charming aura. The iconic Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe recently spoke her heart out about her personal life. She revealed that she has been single for the past two years. Well, this revelation came during the debut episode of Rhea Chakraborty‘s podcast ‘Chapter 2’, wherein Sushmita dismissed rumours about her dating life. There were rumours which stated that Sushmita was dating her ex-boyfriend, Rohman Shawl. The two managed to give major love goals with their deep bond. In a candid conversation with Rhea Chakraborty, Sushmita said, ‘I have no man in my life. I’ve been single for a while. It has been almost two years since I have been single, to be precise since 2021… I am not in a relationship.’.
Sushmita even said that she has wonderful friends but currently not dating anyone. Well, Sushmita’s single status comment comes after there were speculations about her rekindling romance with Rohman Shawl. Now, Sushmita has put an end to all rumours about her dating life.
Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya actress also spoke about enjoying her singlehood and finding happiness in being independent. Sushmita Sen said, ‘I have some incredibly wonderful people in my life who are my friends and they are all just waiting for a moment for me to call them and say, ‘Look, I’m pulling the car out, get in the backseat. We’re driving to Goa’. Sushmita seems to have taken a break from dating after being in a long-term relationship. She said, ‘It is lovely to take a break because I was in a relationship for almost five years. And that was a long time’.
Sushmita and Rhea also spoke about media scrutiny and public perceptions. Sushmita revealed how she faced significant criticism on social media when her relationship with Lalit Modi became public. She revealed that she was termed as a gold digger by many. Rhea Chakraborty teased Sushmita as she said, ‘Do you know there’s a bigger gold digger than you in the room’? Sushmita said, ‘Oh really?’ and Rhea quickly quipped ‘Me’. Later, Sushmita asked ‘Oh, you also?’ and Rhea said, ‘I’m the biggest one’.

Well, Main Hoon Naa star Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl are often spotted at events and other family gatherings. Rohman Shawl has now clarified that she and Sushmita Sen have been together for 6 years and it is the bond that they cherish the most. He said, ‘Voh toh 6 saal se saath mein hai. Isme naya kya hai? (We have been together for six years. What’s new to this?) We have always been friends and that will always continue. We share something special and that is visible too.’
