Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is in the news. We have seen the show took a leap of 10-15 years. The story has completely changed and we have seen new actors entering the show. Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen are seen as the leads right now. Apart from them, we have seen Krutika Desai, Manish Nagdev, Spreha Chaterjee, Ishita Modi and others in the show. Shivam and Alisha are seen as Prem and Aadhya in the show. When they first met in the show, we saw they story looked similar to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai‘s Kartik and Naira story. The first meeting, the triangle and everything looked similar. Fans even criticised the makers for copying their own show’s story.
Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s similar stories!
For the unversed, Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are both produced by Rajan Shahi. Now, as the story of Anupamaa is moving ahead, we will see that Prem’s family will be introduced soon. Prem had revealed that he has no family but soon, we will see the truth coming out.
Prem’s family will be rich and we will see his relations with them being bad. This sounds similar to Kartik’s story where even he first worked with Naira’s mother, Akshara and said that he had no family. Soon, we saw the entry of the Goenkas and Kartik being against his father, Manish.
Looks like the makers of Anupamaa are completely following the story of Kartik and Naira. Fans are not really happy about it and we did see a fall in the TRPs of the show. It is still at the top of the TRP charts but the numbers have been declining.
