Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been grabbing a lot of headlines lately. Today, there were reports of how Abhishek was missing from Aishwarya’s family festivities. The actress’ family gathered together to celebrate her cousin’s birthday. However, Abhishek was not a part of it. The photo went viral on social media and netizens questioned his absence yet again.
Here’s why Abhishek Bachchan was not present
Now, reports state that Abhishek Bachchan is in Bhopal to look after his dadi, Indira Bhaduri. Abhishek’s dadi has not been keeping well for quite some time. The actor had to prioritise being there for his grandmother and hence had to skip Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s family function. He is currently taking care of his grandmother.
Recently, Abhishek Bachchan returned from London after shooting his schedule for the movie Housefull 5. Directed by Tarun Manshukhani, it also stars Akshay Kumar, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, and Fardeen Khan. It will hit theatres in 2025.
Further in this entertainment news, Abhishek Bachchan unveiled the first look of his movie I Want to Talk, directed by Soojit Sircar. The actor captioned the promo, “We all know that one person who ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶s̶ lives to talk. Here’s the story of a man who always looks at the brighter side of life, no matter what life throws at him! Tag that person you know who lives to talk!”

Abhishek will also be seen in Remo Dsouza’s Be Happy and Sujoy Ghosh’s King. In King, AB will play a negative role against Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. The shooting is expected to start in a few months. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan II. The actress has not signed any new movie since then. Fans are awaiting to hear what will be Ash’s next project and many are waiting for her Bollywood comeback as well.
