Rakul Preet Singh reveals father’s reaction when he first met Jackky Bhagnani, ‘What’s your…’

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are now happily married. The duo married in February this year. It was a beautiful destination wedding held in Goa. The pictures of their dreamy wedding went viral on social media in no time. Rakul and Jackky made their relationship public in the year 2021. On his birthday, she had made a post making their affair Insta official. Few years after being in a steady relationship, they decided to get married. Rakul Preet Singh comes from an ARMY background as her father Kulwinder Singh served in Indian ARMY as an officer. So in an interview with entertainment news section of DNA, Rakul Preet Singh revealed how her father grilled Jackky Bhagnani despite her telling not to do so. During the interview, she was asked if Jackky Bhagnani was worried to her father. To this, she added that while Jackky was prepared, she was scared. She added that she told her father that since Jackky is meeting him for the first time, don’t make it awkward for him as he does not come from an army background. However, she added that like every father, her father too asked him some straight up questions. Rakul Preet Singh described how when all were having lunch together, her father asked Jackky a very point blank question. She revealed that during lunch her father asked Jackky what were his plans of future. The filmmaker started talking about the film Mission Raniganj and then her father said, “Work and all is good but what is your plan with my daughter.” She added that he food got stuck in her throat when her father asked the question.
