When Amitabh Bachchan spoke about Rekha in his interview with Simi Garewal and people thought he was lying; ‘We bump into each other…’

Simi Garewal is a well-known celebrity who is known for having candid interactions in her show Rendezvous With Simi Garewal. The actress who turned host was seen asking interesting and personal questions to Bollywood celebrities. Simi made the stars feel comfortable and showcased their vulnerable side to the audience. She had interviewed Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She had once said that it meant a lot when Amitabh Bachchan agreed to interview at the most difficult time in his life. Simi said she wanted Amitabh Bachchan to feel safe enough to open up during the interview. Simi also recalled the reactions on this interview and said that people felt that Amitabh Bachchan was not honest about his answer about Rekha. But, actress Rekha said, ‘I think he was completely honest. There are people who, after that interview, said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan is not like that!’ Or ‘He was not telling the truth about Rekha’, said Simi.

Simi had asked Amitabh Bachchan about his link-up rumours with Rekha and said that she has been his co-star and colleague. He also added that they were working together, obviously they met each other. He said that socially they have nothing in common and that sometimes they bump into each other at a function at an award function, for example, or at a social gathering.

Amitabh Bachchan is happily married to Jaya Bachchan and they are parents to Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan.
