    Thalapathy Vijay starrer remains steady on Sunday despite Ganesh Chaturthi

    The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), starring Thalapathy Vijay, has been performing well at the box office since its release on September 5. This movie, which is one of Vijay’s last before he starts his political career, has attracted a lot of attention and excitement from fans. The Venkat Prabhu-directed movie had a great start on its opening day, with high earnings. Even though it received mixed reviews from critics and some viewers, the action film still made a strong impression.     However, the collections took a dip on Day 2, which was a working Friday. This worried some fans, but the movie bounced back on Day 3, which was Saturday. On Day 3, GOAT earned over Rs 33 crore in India, crossing the ₹100 crore mark in just three days. As of Day 4, which was Sunday, Thalapathy Vijay’s film continued to do well. As reported by the Sacnilk entertainment news portal, the film earned an estimated ₹28.53 crore on its fourth day across all languages in India. The movie has also been performing strongly in international markets, adding to its global earnings.     The Tamil version of GOAT has been especially successful, contributing a significant portion of the total earnings. The film’s global earnings were around ₹155 crore by Friday, and it is expected to reach more than ₹200 crore by the end of the weekend.     Fans of Thalapathy Vijay are excited about the movie and are looking forward to seeing how it performs in the coming days. The film has been praised for its action sequences and Vijay’s performance, even as it received mixed reviews overall. As GOAT continues to make waves at the box office, it remains to be seen if it will surpass the earnings of Vijay’s previous hit, Leo.

    Earlier in an interview, director Venkat Prabhu revealed that the movie is like a farewell for Thalapathy Vijay, who will be soon venturing into politics. His co-star Premgi said in an interview that he will vote for the Tamil superstar and believes the actor will be the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Vijay’s last theatrical release will be a H Vinoth’s tentatively titled film Thalapathy 69.
